Reports Overview

The Reports section helps you understand your business performance. You can track sales, review transactions, study customer behaviour, watch your margin, and compare any period to the one before it — all from real, signed-in data.

Reports come in two tiers:

  • Reports (Basic) — viewing every report type. Included in paid plans.
  • Reports (Advanced) — exporting reports as Excel files. Included in higher-tier plans.

Analytics reports

These reports were added in the May 2026 analytics expansion. Each one supports period-over-period comparison — pick a comparison range (previous period, last week, last month) and the dashboard will overlay the delta percentage on every KPI tile.

Transaction report

The Transaction report lists every payment transaction (completed, pending, cancelled, expired) with method, status, amount, and a link back to the order. This list uses endless scroll — scroll to load more, no page numbers. The first page is cached so cold-open is instant; further scrolling pulls fresh data.

Period-over-period comparisons

Every analytics report has a comparison toggle. Pick:

  • Previous period — same number of days immediately before your current range.
  • Last week — same days last week.
  • Last month — same days last month.
  • Custom — pick any explicit range.

KPI tiles show the comparison delta as a percentage (green up, red down) and the absolute difference. Trend charts overlay both ranges so you can see the shape of the change at a glance.

Why reports matter

Reports take the guesswork out of running your business. You can use them to:

  • Track revenue trends and spot growth or decline.
  • Identify best-selling items and stock accordingly.
  • Reconcile payments across different payment methods.
  • Spot operational pressure using hourly, heatmap, event, and cash variance reports.
  • Protect margin by reviewing discounts, refunds, gross profit, and inventory health.
  • Coach your team with per-staff performance breakdowns.
  • Find your repeat customers and design loyalty / promo offers around them.
  • Share data with your accountant using exported Excel files.
