Cookie Policy
How our website uses cookies, the categories we rely on, and how to give or withdraw your consent at any time.
You can change or withdraw your cookie choices at any time — including after you have already accepted or rejected.
1. What This Policy Covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Fuze-Store IT Solutions (“Fuze Store,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and account dashboard at www.fuze-store.com.
The Fuze Store POS apps (mobile, customer app, and Fuze Store Hub) do not use tracking cookies or advertising identifiers.
2. How Consent Works
- On your first visit, a cookie-consent banner lets you Accept all, Reject all, or Customize non-essential cookies. Nothing non-essential runs until you choose.
- The live chat is not part of that banner: it loads only at the moment you open it (see section 3c).
- You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the Cookie settings button in the site footer — withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
- Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie named
fuze_cookie_consent(kept for up to 1 year). If we materially change our cookie usage, we will ask again.
3. Cookie Categories
a. Strictly Necessary (always active)
These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off:
- Sign-in session cookies (NextAuth) — keep you logged in to your account dashboard securely.
fuze_cookie_consent— remembers your cookie choices.fz_cv— set only when a customer opens a store's customer card page from their own card, and sent only to that page's data. It holds a random session key so the page can show the customer's points without keeping the card's code in the address bar. It lasts 30 days, or 90 days after the customer verifies on that device with a one-time code sent to the mobile number or email the store has on file for them (verifying shows their points history; the code and the contact details are not stored on the page). It ends when the card is revoked or the customer's record is erased. Opening a card again replaces it with a new one, and Forget this device turns it back into a 30-day key that shows only the points.
b. Analytics (only with your consent)
- PostHog — product analytics that helps us understand which pages, sections, and features visitors find useful (e.g. which page you're on, which button you clicked). Nothing loads until you consent.
- Vercel Speed Insights — aggregated, privacy-friendly page-performance measurements.
- Google Analytics — website traffic measurement (which pages are visited, how visitors arrived, and whether they signed up). It sets the
_gaand_ga_<id>cookies, which last up to 2 years. We run it for analytics only: Google signals and ad personalization are switched off, so it is not used for advertising. Nothing loads until you consent. - Sentry — error diagnostics; with analytics consent, error reports may include technical request details (such as IP address) to help us debug. Core anonymous error reporting stays on as a legitimate interest.
c. Live Chat (loads only when you open it)
- Tawk.to — the live-chat widget used for customer support. It is not loaded when you arrive, and it sets no cookies and stores nothing until you click Chat with us. Opening the chat is your request for that service, so it is not covered by the consent banner. If you never open the chat, nothing from Tawk.to ever loads.
4. What We Do NOT Use
- No advertising or ad-targeting cookies.
- No cross-site tracking pixels.
- No sale or sharing of personal data collected via cookies.
5. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in and core site functions from working.
6. Related Policies and Contact
For how we handle personal data generally, see our Privacy Policy.
