Adding Printers

Fuze Store Hub supports the four most common printer connections. Once a printer is added here, every POS tablet on your network can use it.

Supported printers

Almost any ESC/POS thermal printer works — Epson TM-series, Star TSP-series, Xprinter, Rongta, and most 58mm / 80mm receipt printers.

USB

Plug the printer directly into the Fuze Store Hub computer via USB. Best for a single receipt printer at the counter.

Bluetooth

Pair the printer from the tablet directly (not through Fuze Store Hub). Best for portable printers, food trucks, and market stalls.

Network (TCP/IP)

Printer has an IP address on your local network. Best for kitchen printers — put the printer in the kitchen and the Hub at the counter.

Serial (RS-232)

Older printers using a serial cable. Rare in modern setups.

Adding a USB or network printer

1

Plug in the printer (or put it on the network)

USB — connect the cable to the Fuze Store Hub computer and turn the printer on.

Network — connect the printer to your router via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, following the printer's manual. Note its IP address.

2

Open Fuze Store Hub → Printers

Click Printers in the sidebar, then click Discover in the top right.

Fuze Store Hub scans your USB ports and local network. Any compatible printer shows up in the list.

3

Register it

Click Register next to the printer. You'll be asked to give it a name like Receipt — Counter or Kitchen — Hot Line.

4

Test it

Back on the Printers page, click Test print next to your new printer. A test receipt should come out within a second or two.

If nothing happens, check Troubleshooting.

Assigning printers to receipts or kitchen tickets

The Printer Assignment screen in Fuze Store Hub showing receipt and kitchen ticket routing toggles for each registered printer

Printer assignments (which document goes to which printer) live in the mobile app:

  1. Open Fuze Store → Configurations → Printers on a paired tablet
  2. Pick a printer
  3. Toggle which documents it should print — Receipts, Kitchen tickets, Bill out, etc.

Changes sync to Fuze Store Hub immediately. No restart needed.

Bluetooth printers

Bluetooth printers connect directly to the tablet, not through Fuze Store Hub. That means:

  • Each tablet must pair with the Bluetooth printer individually (Settings → Bluetooth on iOS/Android)
  • Only the tablet that's paired can print to that printer
  • Fuze Store Hub does not need to be running for Bluetooth printing

Use Bluetooth for small, mobile setups (food truck, market stall). Use USB or network for fixed installations.
