Approving Mobile Devices
Staff cannot connect themselves. When a phone or tablet asks, the request lands on the Hub page for an owner or Hub admin to decide.
Before you start
- The Hub running, with at least one person who can approve.
Steps
1
The staff device asks to pair
On their phone, the staff member taps Request access next to a Hub the app found.

2
See the request
Owners, organization admins and Hub admins are told. It shows in a banner and in the waiting list under the Hub on Configurations → Integrations → Fuze Store Hub, and under Mobile devices on the Hub.

Approve or deny
Approve sends the device a signed approval, which the Hub checks and then opens a session. Deny rejects it, and the staff member can ask again.

What happens next
- Every approval and denial is recorded in the Audit Log with who decided and when.
Edge cases
- Requests expire after 5 minutes. Nothing is approved by default, and the staff member simply asks again. Asking again from the same device reuses the request, up to 5 asks a minute.
- Only approve a request you expect. If one appears when nobody is setting up a device, deny it and check who is on your network.
- Approving is not permanent. Rename or revoke a Hub, and revoke devices, under Configurations → Integrations → Fuze Store Hub. Revoking unlinks printers and kitchen stations bound to that Hub, and the same computer can be paired again with a fresh key.
- An approval can be refused as expired or no longer pending.
