Getting Started with Fuze Store
Welcome to Fuze Store. This guide walks you from account signup to your first completed sale.
What you'll do
- Create your account and verify your email.
- Create your first store in the store app wizard.
- Complete the Get set up checklist.
- Add products (and services if you sell them) and take a sale on the POS.
Step-by-step
1. Create your account
Open Create Account and sign up with email or a social provider. Confirm your email when prompted, then sign in.
2. Create your store
From the account website (Stores → Create Store) or the Fuze Store app, start Create store. The website hands you off into the store app wizard — you stay signed in. See Creating a Store for Express vs Custom setup and Store Setup Templates for business-type presets.
After you finish, the app opens the Get set up checklist for that store.
3. Complete Get set up
The checklist helps you open for business. Typical items:
| Step | What to do |
|---|---|
| Build your menu | Add categories and products (and services) under Catalog. |
| Connect a printer | Optional — set up a receipt printer when you are ready. |
| Make your first sale | Open POS, punch an order, and complete payment. |
| Connect your AI assistant | Link Claude or ChatGPT so you can ask about sales, stock, and orders in plain language. See AI Connections. Skip it if you do not want an AI connected. |
| Set your hours | Publish weekly hours so customers know when you are open. |
| Explore Toolkit | Mark add-ons you are interested in (no payment during setup). |
You can reopen the checklist later from the store home / dashboard area when items remain incomplete.

4. Add catalog items
Go to Catalog and add categories, then products. If you sell bookable or duration-based work, create those as services in the same product catalog (they are not a separate “Services” module anymore). See Creating a Product and Creating a Service.
Optional bulk import from a spreadsheet is available under Configurations → Import on Starter and above — not on the free Basic plan.
5. Take your first sale
Open POS, add items to the cart, submit the order, and record payment. Fuze does not process card/e-wallet checkout for you — you collect payment into your own store account and log the tender in the app. See Using the POS Register.
Plan note (Basic vs paid)
On the free Basic plan you can create stores, run unlimited POS, manage catalogs, apply basic discounts (including Senior/PWD), and use the dashboard. Features such as Tax, Reports, Events, Areas / Units, Refunds, and Import / Export need a paid plan (typically Starter or higher). Add-ons (Inventory, SMS, Loyalty, and others) are separate — many are included during a free trial, then purchasable when you are ready.
Tips
- Prefer Express setup with a business template if you want starter preferences and roles without configuring every screen.
- After create, spend a few minutes on Preferences and Customer visibility & hours.
- Keep Store information and address accurate — they print on receipts.
