How to Create a Store
A store is where you manage your products, staff, sales, and everything else in Fuze Store POS. You can create one in under a minute.

Step-by-Step Guide
- Open the Menu -- Click the sidebar menu icon to open navigation.
- Go to Account -- Select Account from the menu.
- Go to Stores -- Click Stores in the Account section.
- Add a Store -- Press the Add Store button at the top right.
- Pick a business-type template (optional) -- Choose a template that matches your business (Restaurant, Cafe, Retail, Salon, Car Wash, and more) to get a head start. The template pre-fills your settings, common taxes, and starter staff roles. If you'd rather start from scratch, leave Custom selected — it's the default and sets nothing up for you.
- Review the Configuration -- If you picked a template, a short Configuration step shows a few high-impact settings (like tax and service fees) already filled in. Adjust anything you like, or accept the defaults.
- Fill in the Details -- Enter your store information (see the field table below).
- Save -- Click Save. Your new store appears instantly in your POS and store list.
A template is just a shortcut, never a lock-in. Everything it sets up — taxes, fees, roles, preferences — can be changed afterward on your Preferences and Settings screens. Learn more in Store Setup Templates.
On the free Basic plan, some modules are turned off. Taxes, Importing data, Exporting data, and Email notifications need a paid plan. Selling at the POS is always unlimited, even on the free plan. If you pick a template on the free plan, tax-related setup is skipped until you upgrade.
