Fuze gives your customers three free, always-on surfaces — no add-on required:

  • A public store directory where customers can find your store, profile, and menu.
  • Operating hours on your public profile, with a live "open now" indicator.
  • Live order-status pages behind the QR codes printed on receipts, laundry claim stubs, and queue tickets.

All of it is controlled from your store's Preferences screen in the Fuze Store app.

Your public store page

Show or hide your store in the customer directory

1

Open Store Preferences

In the Fuze Store app, go to Configurations → Preferences and open the Storefront tab.

2

Find the directory switch

The Storefront tab has a switch: Show my store in the public directory. It is on by default — new stores are discoverable from day one.

The Preferences screen on the Storefront tab, showing Show my store in the public directory switched on, with Operating Hours below it
Preferences → Storefront
3

Toggle and save

Turn the switch off if you don't want your store listed. Hiding your store removes it from the public directory and hides your public profile and menu — visitors get a "not found" response, indistinguishable from a store that doesn't exist.

Changes can take up to 5 minutes to appear publicly — the directory, profile, and menu are cached briefly for speed. Your own app always shows the saved setting immediately.

Show or hide your street address

Your street address is hidden by default. Many sellers run their store from home, so Fuze does not publish a street address until you choose to.

1

Open the address switch

On the Storefront tab, directly under the directory switch is Show my street address on my store page.

The Preferences screen on the Storefront tab, showing Show my street address on my store page switched off, below Show my store in the public directory
Preferences → Storefront
2

Turn it on if you want customers to find you

Switch it on for a shop customers walk into. Leave it off if you sell from home, deliver only, or meet customers at an agreed pickup point.

Your city and province are always shown, whether the switch is on or off. Customers browsing nearby stores still see roughly where you are and how far away you are — you only hide the exact street, unit, postal code, and map pin.

This only affects your public store page. Your full address is still used for your own records and still prints on receipts.

Set your weekly operating hours

1

Open the Operating Hours section

On the Storefront tab, find Operating Hours. Each day of the week has its own row.

2

Configure each day

Use the switch at the start of a row to mark the day open or closed. Open days show two time pickers — opening and closing time. Days you leave switched off display as "Closed" on your public profile.

The Operating Hours section with Monday switched to open, showing 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM time pickers, while Tuesday through Friday remain Closed
Preferences → Storefront → Operating hours
3

Overnight hours are supported

If your closing time is earlier than your opening time (for example 10:00 PM – 2:00 AM), Fuze treats it as an overnight window that spills into the next day — the "open now" indicator stays accurate past midnight.

4

Save

Your public profile now shows the weekly schedule and computes Open now / Closed live, in your store's own timezone.

If you never configure hours, your profile simply omits them — customers see no schedule rather than a wrong one.

The live order-status page (what your customers see)

Every receipt (and laundry claim stub or queue ticket) you print carries a QR code. When a customer scans it with their phone camera, they land on a live status page showing:

  • Your store name and the order number.
  • A progress timeline — Placed → Being prepared → Ready for pickup → Completed.
  • The items on the order and any balance due (useful for pay-on-pickup workflows like laundry).
  • For queue tickets: their live position in line and how many parties are ahead.

The page refreshes itself automatically — customers stop calling to ask "is it ready yet?".

You can also include the live status link in order (and waiting-list) SMS templates when the SMS add-on is active: Configurations → SMS → Message templates, then add the {{statusUrl}} placeholder. The link makes the message longer — a typical "order ready" text with the link often uses 2 SMS segments (2 wallet points) instead of 1. See Message Templates and send a test SMS from Settings to confirm length and delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Does this cost anything? No. Directory listing, public profile, menu, operating hours, and live status pages are free on every plan, including the free Basic plan.

Can I hide the status pages but stay in the directory? Yes — they are separate switches. Directory/profile/menu visibility follows the Storefront toggle; the printed-QR status pages are on by default and can be disabled separately by support if needed.

What exactly is public on my menu? Only what a customer needs: item names, descriptions, prices, photos, and availability. Internal data — costs, SKUs, barcodes, stock levels, tax setup — is never exposed.

I run my store from home. Is my address safe? Yes. Your street address is off by default and only publishes if you turn it on. Customers see your city and province so they can still find you nearby.
