POS Units Overview
On the register, Units is the live floor view of your tables, rooms, seats, or bays. Open it from the POS drawer — not from Configurations (that’s where you create and edit the catalog of areas/units).
Paid plan required. Units is available on any paid plan (Starter and up). It is not included on the free Basic plan. View plans
Open Units
- From POS, open the drawer (menu).
- Tap Units.
- You see enabled units in a grid. If the Floor Plan add-on is active and this device is set to floor view, you may see a live floor instead — same actions when you tap a unit.
What you can do
Tap a unit to open its detail sheet:

|---|---|
| Make Order | Start a new order on that unit |
| View Order | Open the order already on the unit |
| Available / Occupied / Reserved / Unavailable | Set unit status |
| Print Bill / Print Slip / Complete | When an order is present (as available for that order state) |
| Transfer | Move the open order to another unit (tap a destination; occupied targets confirm a swap; Unavailable targets are blocked) |
Statuses: Available, Occupied, Reserved, Unavailable.
Areas vs POS
- Configurations → Operations → Areas / Units — create and edit the layout.
- POS → Units — run service against that layout.
