Connecting Mistral Le Chat
Le Chat works like Claude: paste one web address, approve in your browser, and there is no code to copy. This was verified against Mistral's documentation rather than a live walkthrough, so a button may sit slightly differently.
Before you start
- The AI Connections add-on on the store.
- Owner, organization admin, or a role with AI Connections → Connect.
- Le Chat open in a web browser.
Steps
Copy your store's link
In the Fuze Store app open Configurations → MCP → Connect an assistant and copy the MCP Server URL. It looks like https://api.fuze-store.com/mcp/store/<your-store-id>. It is unique to one store, so there is no store picker on the approval screen.

Open your connectors
In Le Chat go to the Connectors page and click + Add Connector.

Use the custom tab
Switch to the Custom MCP Connector tab. The other tab is Mistral's ready-made list.

Fill in the name and URL
Name: your store name. URL: paste your link. Le Chat works out the sign-in itself.

Sign in and approve
Log in to Fuze Store if asked, untick anything you would rather not share and click Approve.

What happens next
- The assistant appears under Active connections on Configurations → MCP, with its name, who connected it, the permissions granted and when its key expires. Start asking questions about your store.
Edge cases
- Adding a custom connector is an administrator action. On Free, Pro and Student plans the account owner is the administrator. On Team or Enterprise, ask your administrator.
- Only add addresses you trust. Mistral does not review custom connectors.
- Sign-in problems. The usual causes are not being signed in to Fuze Store in the browser, the AI Connections add-on being off, or pasting the link for a different store. See Setting Up AI Access.
- Your role limits what you can grant. You can only give permissions your own role holds. A role without AI Connections → Connect is refused at sign-in.
- No client ID is needed for tools that register themselves from the link alone.
