Customer Facing Display Overview
The CFD turns a second device into a live customer screen. Customers see their items, totals and payment status as you ring them up.

After the summary shows for a set time (10 seconds by default), the screen returns to idle. A cart left on screen goes idle after the idle minutes set on the display device (2 by default, 0 turns it off), and never during payment or the thank-you screen.
Clearing the payment screen. After you tap Show Info on Other Screen in the payment dialog, it becomes Hide Info from Other Screen. Tapping it returns the display to the cart, or to idle if the register is clear, and leaves your payment dialog open. A touchscreen display also has its own close button at the top left of the payment and thank-you screens. The button only shows for a payment method with a QR code or account details.
How it connects. The register sends every update two ways: through Fuze Store's server over the internet, and, when paired, through the Fuze Store Hub over your local Wi-Fi. The display listens on both and shows each update once, in order. With a Hub it keeps working when the internet drops.
Privacy. The customer's name is shortened to first name and last initial, such as Jose R., and their email is hidden. This is on by default.

Edge cases
- Without the add-on the server refuses cart updates and the register shows no error. The Hub refuses once the server says the add-on is off.
- The totals show tax, service charges and delivery, and line prices include option add-ons.
- A refund leaves the display on the payment screen in some cases. Clear it with Hide Info.
- The next sale can be hidden by the thank-you summary for a moment.
