How to Set a Default Payment Method
Your default payment method is charged for plan renewals and for add-on charges when billing is live. Set it to the card you prefer.
Billing during Early Release
Plan changes and billing are paused during Early Release. Payment method management may be hidden while the pause is on.
On the web
- Sign in and open Subscription (
/account/subscription). - Under Payment Methods, find the method you want.
- Select Set As Default.
- The method shows the Default badge. Future renewals use it when billing is live.
In the app
- Open the main menu → Account → Subscription.
- Open the payment method detail.
- Tap Set as Default.
- Confirm if prompted. The method is marked as default.
Tips
- Change the default whenever you like.
- If the default card expires, update or replace it before the next renewal.
- You can add a new method and set it as default in the same visit.
