How Account Subscription Works
Your Fuze Store subscription is the account-level plan that controls which features and limits your stores inherit. You can start on the free Basic plan (or a free trial) and move up when you need more.
Billing during Early Release
Plan changes and paid add-on purchases are paused during Early Release — you will not be charged. On Subscription and Add-ons, purchase CTAs may be hidden or replaced with a Free during Early Release note until general availability.
What is a subscription?
A subscription unlocks Fuze Store for your account. You pay a flat monthly fee per store (when billing is live). Fuze Store never takes a percentage of your sales.
Plans today, cheapest first: free Basic, then Starter, Lite, Standard, and Premium. Compare what each one includes on the pricing page. Prices are not published during Early Release.
Free trial and Basic
- New operator accounts typically start on a free trial. While the trial is active, most paid add-ons are included free except Inventory Management and Organization.
- When the trial ends, the account continues on free Basic unless you change plan (after Early Release). Data is kept — gated features hide until you upgrade or re-enable an add-on.
- Creating orders in the POS is unlimited on every plan, including Basic.
How billing works (when billing is live)
- You pay in advance. Each renewal charges the fee for the upcoming period.
- Upgrades apply right away. Mid-cycle upgrades charge a prorated difference for the days left; features unlock immediately. Your renewal date stays the same.
- Downgrades apply at renewal. You keep the current plan until the end of the cycle you already paid for; the next renewal bills at the lower rate.
- Cancel anytime. You keep access until the end of the current billing period, then move to Basic (you can Reactivate before that date).
- Add-ons align to your plan cycle. Activating a paid add-on charges a prorated stub for the rest of the current plan period. At renewal, active add-ons fold into the same plan invoice — they do not renew on a separate clock from their activation date. Add-ons work on any plan (including Basic) when a default payment method is on file.
What plans unlock
Depending on your plan, you may get more stores, staff, catalog capacity, reports, events, taxes, import/export, refunds, and more. Optional add-ons (Loyalty, SMS, Inventory, Kitchen Display, and others) sit on top of any plan.
See Subscription Overview for status meanings (Active, Pending, Canceled, Past Due, Suspended) and Add-ons Overview for trial grants and activation.
Where to manage it
On the web
- Sign in and open Subscription in the account sidebar (
/account/subscription). - Review your plan, next billing or expiry, and (after Early Release) payment methods, coupons, and invoices.
- Use Change Plan, Cancel Subscription, or Reactivate when those actions are shown.

In the app
- Open the main menu → Account → Subscription (
/account/subscription). - Review the same plan and billing details.
- Use Change Plan and other billing actions when they are shown (same Early Release pause as on the web).
Tips
- Pick the plan that matches your business size — you can change later when billing is live.
- Keep a valid default payment method once billing is live so renewals and add-ons can charge.
- During Early Release, explore the product without being charged for plan or add-on purchases.
