Subscription Overview

Your subscription is the account-level plan that controls which features and limits your stores inherit. You can start on the free Basic plan and move up when you need more.

Billing during Early Release

Plan changes and billing are paused during Early Release — you will not be charged. On Subscription, actions like Change Plan, payment methods, coupons, and cancel may be hidden until general availability.

What the free (Basic) plan includes

Creating orders in the POS is unlimited on every plan, including Basic.

Reserved for paid plans (Starter and up unless noted):

  • Taxes, Import, Export, and email notifications — Starter and up.
  • Refunds — Starter and up.
  • Reports Basics (headline sales) — Starter and up; Reports Advanced (more analytics and exports) — Lite and up.
  • Real-time sync across devices — Lite and up.
  • SMS notifications — Text Messaging (SMS) add-on (any plan with the add-on enabled).

The pricing page lists every plan side by side, including store, staff, and catalog limits.

How billing works (when billing is live)

Your plan is a flat monthly fee per store — Fuze Store never takes a percentage of your sales.

  • You pay in advance. Each renewal charges the fee for the upcoming period.
  • Upgrades apply right away. Mid-cycle upgrades charge a prorated difference for the days left; features unlock immediately. Your renewal date stays the same.
  • Downgrades apply at renewal. You keep the current plan until the end of the cycle you already paid for; the next renewal bills at the lower rate.
  • Add-ons align to your plan cycle. When you activate a paid add-on (after Early Release), you are charged a prorated stub for the rest of the current plan period. At renewal, active add-ons fold into the same plan invoice — they do not renew on a separate clock. Add-ons work on any plan (including Basic) when a default payment method is on file.

Subscription status

StatusMeaning
ActiveIn good standing; plan features are available.
PendingActivation or payment is still processing (not the same as a scheduled plan change).
CanceledWill move to the free plan when the current cycle ends. You can Reactivate before that date.
Past DueA payment failed. You have a 7-day grace period to update payment. Stores stay active during grace.
SuspendedGrace expired without payment. Stores are frozen until payment is resolved.

A scheduled plan change (for example a downgrade) may also show as an alert with the new plan and date — that is separate from the Pending status above.

Subscription
  1. Sign in and open Subscription in the account sidebar (/account/subscription).
  2. Review your current plan, next billing or expiry, and (after Early Release) payment methods, coupons, and invoices.
  3. Use Change Plan, Cancel Subscription, or Reactivate when those actions are shown.

In the app

  2. Review your plan and billing details.
  3. Use Change Plan and other billing actions when they are shown (same Early Release pause as on the web).

Tips

  • Compare plans on pricing before you change.
  • Keep a valid default payment method once billing is live so renewals and add-ons can charge.
  • During Early Release, you can explore the product without being charged for plan or add-on purchases.
