Subscription Overview

Your subscription determines which features, stores, and staff limits are available in Fuze Store POS. You can start with a free plan and upgrade as your business grows.

What Is a Subscription?

A subscription is the plan that controls your access to Fuze Store POS. It sets your feature limits and is billed automatically, so you never have to worry about renewals.

What the Free (Basic) Plan Includes

You can run your store on the free Basic plan and upgrade when you need more. Creating orders in the POS is unlimited on every plan, including Basic.

Some features are reserved for paid plans and are turned off on Basic:

  • Taxes, Import, Export, and email notifications -- available on any paid plan (Starter and up).
  • Refunds, exporting reports, and real-time sync across devices -- available on the Lite plan and up.
  • SMS notifications -- available with the Text Messaging (SMS) add-on (on any plan).

The pricing page lists every plan side by side, including store, staff, and catalog limits.

What You Can Manage

  • View your plan -- See your current plan and what it includes.
  • Upgrade or downgrade -- Change plans as your business needs shift.
  • Payment methods -- Add, remove, or update your billing details.
  • Billing history -- Review past invoices and download receipts.
  • Cancel -- Stop your subscription if you no longer need it.

How Billing Works

Your plan is a flat monthly fee per store — Fuze Store never takes a percentage of your sales.

  • You pay in advance. Each renewal charges the fee for the upcoming month, like a typical software subscription.
  • Upgrades apply right away. When you move to a higher plan mid-cycle, you are charged only the prorated difference for the days left in your current cycle, and the new features unlock immediately. Your renewal date stays the same.
  • Downgrades apply at renewal. When you move to a lower plan, you keep your current plan's features until the end of the cycle you already paid for; the next renewal bills at the lower rate.
  • Add-ons bill separately. Each add-on is charged when you activate it and renews on its own monthly cycle. Add-ons work on any plan — including Basic — as long as you have a payment method on file.

Subscription Status

Your subscription can be in one of several states:

StatusMeaning
ActiveYour subscription is in good standing and all features are available.
PendingA plan change is scheduled and will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
CanceledYour subscription will downgrade to the free plan when the current cycle ends. You can reactivate before that date.
Past DueA payment has failed. You have a 7-day grace period to update your payment method. Your stores remain active during this period.
SuspendedThe grace period has expired without a successful payment. Your stores are temporarily frozen and POS operations are blocked until payment is resolved.

Keep your payment method up to date

If a payment fails, you have 7 days to add a valid payment method. After 7 days, your stores will be suspended and you will not be able to process sales until the issue is resolved.

Tips

  • Review your plan regularly to make sure it still fits your business.
  • Upgrade when you need more stores, staff, or advanced features.
  • Keep your payment details current to avoid service interruptions.
