How to Delete a Discount
When a discount is no longer needed, remove it to keep your list clean, or turn it off to keep it for later.
Before you start
- The Discounts · Delete permission.
Steps

Go to Discounts
Open the sidebar menu and select Discounts.

Choose Delete
Tap Delete on the discount's row or menu, or open the discount and tap Delete on its page. For several at once on a wide screen, tick them and pick Delete from Action.

Confirm
Confirm when prompted.
What happens next
- The discount leaves your list and no longer applies to new sales. The discount lists are cleared.
- Past sales and reports still show the discount as it was at the time of sale, because each order keeps its own copy.
- Other devices are told only on plans with live sync.
Edge cases
- Deleted discounts cannot be restored. To keep one for later, tick it and pick Disable from Action, or turn Enable off on its page. A discount turned off leaves the register's list.
- Already gone? Deleting a discount that someone else deleted first answers that it was not found.
- Mandated discounts. If you delete Senior Citizen or PWD, you must set them up again by hand. See Store Setup Templates.
- Bulk actions show on a wide screen, to people who may change or delete discounts.
