Wallet Overview
Your Wallet is a prepaid credit balance on your account. You add money to it ahead of time, and Fuze Store spends from it whenever you use a pay-as-you-go feature — in any store you own. Top up once, and every one of your stores can spend from the same balance. Today, the first feature that spends your Wallet is text messaging (SMS) — sending a customer an order update or a booking reminder.
Think of it like load on a prepaid phone: top it up, then use it. When it runs low, you top up again.

The Wallet itself is free — there is no add-on or extra plan needed to have one. You only pay for what you actually use (for example, each text message you send).
Points, in plain terms
Your Wallet balance is measured in points, not pesos. The reason is simple and fair:
- 1 point = 1 text message segment. A short text is 1 segment, so it costs 1 point. A longer text may be split into 2 segments, so it costs 2 points.
- When you top up, your money is converted into points at the rate in force at top-up time. You always see how many points a top-up will add before you confirm.
This way, your balance always tells you roughly how many messages you can still send, which is easier to reason about than a peso figure.
Where the money comes from
You add points by topping up — paying through a secure checkout page with your card or e-wallet. The checkout shows the minimum and maximum amount it accepts. Every top-up generates a receipt you can download for your records (issued as an Acknowledgement Receipt until our BIR permit is granted). See Topping Up Your Wallet.
Top-ups are paused during Early Release
No payments are processed while we finish setting up our payment provider, so the Wallet is hidden — the balance, ledger and receipts are all put away until top-ups open, and your balance stays at zero. Every other part of the app works normally. This page describes how the Wallet works once payments go live.
Where your balance lives
Credit belongs to whoever pays the bill, not to an individual store — the same way your plan and invoices do. Which wallet a store spends from depends on one thing: whether it belongs to an organization.
- Your stores (the usual case). All the stores you own spend from your account Wallet. Open it at Account → Wallet. Each store's own Wallet screen is a view onto that same balance — topping up there credits your account Wallet, and the screen says so.
- Store in an organization (pooled). Stores grouped under an organization share one pooled Wallet at the organization level. Top-ups happen at the organization, and every member store spends from the shared pool. This lets a head office fund all branches in one place. See Organization Wallet & SMS.
Your credit follows you
Because the balance sits on your account, it is never tied up in one store. Closing a store does not cost you credit, and handing a store over to someone else does not hand them your balance. If your store is in a pooled organization, its Wallet screen sends you to the organization level to top up — that is expected, the pool is funded centrally.
What you can see
| Item | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Balance | Your current points, and roughly how many messages that covers. |
| Activity | Every top-up and every charge, newest first, so you can trace where points went. On the account Wallet this spans all your stores; a store's own screen shows that store's charges. |
| Receipts | A downloadable PDF for each top-up, plus Resend email to send a copy to the bill-to address on the receipt. |
Low-balance email alerts are configured under Configurations → SMS → Settings (alert email + threshold), not on the Wallet screen itself. See SMS Overview.
Tips
- Top up before a busy day so messages never stop mid-rush.
- Set a low-balance alert email in SMS → Settings so you are warned before you run out.
- Review your activity if a balance looks off — every change is listed.
