How to Delete a Gift Card
Add-on required. This feature requires the Gift Cards add-on to be active on your store. View add-ons
When a gift card is no longer needed, you can remove it to keep your list clean.
Step-by-Step Guide

Open the menu
Click the sidebar menu icon to open navigation.

Go to Gift Cards
Select Gift Cards to see your current list.

Delete
Find the gift card you want to delete and click its Delete button.

Confirm
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
What Happens When You Delete a Gift Card?
- The gift card disappears from your list and can no longer be used for new sales or redemptions.
- Its records are preserved, not erased — past sales, redemptions, and reports still show the gift card as it was at the time of use.
- You can create a new gift card later if your needs change.
Tips
- Deleted gift cards cannot be restored. Double-check before confirming.
- Only delete gift cards you are certain you no longer need.
- If you are unsure, consider editing or disabling the gift card instead.
- Remove outdated gift cards to keep your list manageable.
