How to Delete a Product
If you no longer sell a product or want to clean up your catalog, you can remove it in a few clicks. There are two ways to delete a product.

Option 1: Delete from the Product List
Open the menu
Click the sidebar menu icon to open navigation.

Go to Products
Select Products from the menu list.

Find the product
Locate the product you want to delete (for example, "Iced Latte").
Delete
Click the trash bin icon in the action column.

Confirm
A confirmation prompt appears. Click Yes or Confirm to finish.

Option 2: Delete from the Product Details
- Open the menu -- Click the sidebar menu icon to open navigation.
- Go to Products -- Select Products from the menu list.
- Choose a product -- Click the product you want to delete.
- Delete -- Click the trash bin icon on the product details page.
- Confirm -- A confirmation prompt appears. Click Yes or Confirm to finish.
Some Products Can't Be Deleted
Deleting is permanent, so Fuze Store refuses it when the item still holds
records you would lose:
- The item has been sold. It appears on past receipts and in your reports,
which are business records you have to keep. - The item has stock history. Deleting it would erase every delivery,
transfer and stock adjustment recorded against it, along with what it cost
you.
In both cases the app tells you which items are the problem and nothing is
deleted -- if you selected ten items and one of them has sold, none of the ten
are removed.
To take an item off the menu without losing its history, mark it
unavailable instead. It disappears from the register and your online menu
and comes back the moment you switch it on again.
What Happens When You Delete a Product
- The product is removed from your POS and menus immediately.
- Any associations with modifiers or bundles are removed.
- You can always add a new product later if needed.
Tips
- Deletion is permanent -- double-check before you confirm.
- If you only want to hide a product temporarily, mark it unavailable or make it inactive instead of deleting it.
- After deleting, review any related bundles or modifiers to make sure nothing is broken.
