Deleting an Organization

Only the organization owner can delete an organization. This action cannot be undone.

Steps

Afterwards the app goes back to your organizations.

What happens next

• The organization disappears from every member's list and can no longer be opened.
• All members lose their organization access, including every branch they reached through it.
• Invitations still waiting for an answer stop working. Their link says the organization no longer exists.
• Linked stores are not deleted. Each one stands alone again, with its staff, products and orders as they were.
• No store's plan or billing changes: every store stays on its own owner's bill.
• Product links and the master catalog stop being used.
• Any credit left in the organization's wallet moves to the account wallet of the person who created the organization. Each store sends texts from its owner's account wallet again.
• If members were also added as staff to individual stores, that store-level access remains.
• The organization's people become ordinary staff of each store they worked at, with the pay they had on their own staff record there.

Edge cases

• Approved payroll: an organization that ever approved a pay run is never erased after the 30 days; it stays as a closed record.
• Wallet credit: any pooled wallet balance moves to your account wallet, so nothing is lost.
• Only an owner can delete. Admins and every other role are refused.
