How to Link or Unlink Social Accounts

Connecting a social account lets you sign in with Google, Facebook or Apple instead of typing your email and password each time. Fuze Store supports Google, Facebook and Apple. In the app, Apple can be linked only on an iPhone.

Where to find it

• On the web: Account (/account) → Connected Accounts — description: Link your social accounts for easier login.
• In the app: Account → Account Details → Social.

Each row shows the provider name (Google / Facebook), a Linked badge when connected, and Link or Unlink.

To link a social account

1. Open Connected Accounts (web) or Social (app).
2. Tap Link next to Google or Facebook (the app may briefly show Linking).
3. Complete the provider's sign-in and consent screens in the browser or system sheet.
4. When linking succeeds:
   • App: toast Account linked.
   • Web: the row shows as linked (errors surface as a toast with the server message).

You can use that provider the next time you sign in.

Each time a new sign-in is linked, we email your account's address to tell you. If you did not link it, contact support right away.

Linking Apple

If your account has a password, you confirm it first, and then any Apple ID can be linked, even one that hides its email.

If your account has no password (you made it with Google, Facebook or Apple), the Apple ID you link must share your Fuze account's email, and must not hide it. Otherwise you see "Your account doesn't have a password yet. Set one from Account → Security." Set a password, then link Apple again.

If linking fails

Common cases (especially in the app):

To unlink a social account

1. Open Connected Accounts (web) or Social (app).
2. Tap Unlink next to the provider.
3. Confirm Disconnect this account? — you will no longer be able to sign in with it, and you can reconnect it later. Confirm with Unlink (may show Unlinking). Success toast: Account unlinked.

You can still sign in with email and password after unlinking (as long as you have a password set).

If it is your only way to sign in

When you have no password and only one connected account, unlinking it would lock you out completely — so we stop it. You will see: "This is your only way to sign in. Set a password or connect another account first — otherwise you'd be locked out."

Do one of these first, then unlink:

• Set a password — we email you a link to choose one.
• Connect a second account — you can link Google or Facebook without a password when it uses your account's email. Apple also needs your account's email, not a hidden one.

Tips

• If you sign in with Google using the same email address as an existing account (only capitalization may differ), and Google has confirmed that address, Google is linked automatically—you stay on one account.
• Facebook never confirms your email address with us, so signing in with Facebook does not join an existing account with the same email. You see "This email isn't confirmed by the provider. Sign in with your password, then connect it from your profile." Sign in with your password, then use Link next to Facebook here.
• You can link more than one social account for convenience.
• If you unlink all social accounts, make sure you remember your email and password.
• Only link accounts you trust and use regularly.
• Provider consent screens are owned by Google/Facebook — Fuze Store only starts Link and stores the result.

Edge cases

• Same email: Google and Facebook must carry your account's email. Apple may hide it when the account has a password.
• Apple can be linked only on iPhone in the app.
• Last way in: you cannot disconnect your only sign-in method; set a password first.
