Creating a Modifier

Modifiers let you offer extra choices or add-ons for your products and services. These include sizes, toppings, flavors, or special requests. Follow these steps to add a new modifier.

Open the menu

Click the sidebar hamburger menu to open navigation.

Go to Modifiers

Select Modifiers from the menu list.

Add a modifier

Press the New Modifier button at the top right of the modifier list page.

Fill in the details

Enter the information for your new modifier. See Modifier Overview for what each field means.

Add at least one option before saving. A modifier needs at least one option (for example, "Small" and "Large" for a Size modifier) — Save stays disabled until you press Add Option and fill in at least one.

Save

Click Save. Your new modifier is available for use with products and services right away.

Tips

  • Use clear, simple names for modifiers and their options (for example, "Size: Small, Medium, Large").
  • Group similar modifiers together for easier selection during checkout.
  • Only add modifiers that provide real value or choice for your customers.
  • Use pricing on modifiers to encourage upselling, such as extra toppings or premium add-ons.
  • You can always edit or remove modifiers later if your menu changes.
