# My Profile and My Schedule

**My Profile** is your own copy of the staff screen. Every signed-in staff member has it, and it needs **no permission at all** — you are looking at yourself, and your identity is the permission.

Open it from the drawer menu → **My Profile**.

Managers use **Staff** to manage everyone. You use **My Profile** to manage
you. Same screens, different scope — see [Managing a Staff
  Schedule](/docs/store/staff/managing-staff-schedule) for the manager side.

## What is on the profile

The profile screen shows your name, email, role, and confirmation status, plus a row of quick actions and a card of your currently active orders. The quick actions available to you depend on your store's plan and your permissions — you will only see the ones that apply.

| Action | What it opens |
| --- | --- |
| **Schedule** | Your weekly hours and one-off overrides |
| **Bookings** | Appointments and reservations assigned to you |
| **Orders** | Your order history |
| **Role** | The role you are assigned to, and what it grants |
| **Edit** | Your own name, email, and details |

## My schedule

Open **Schedule** from your profile. The screen has two parts.

### Weekly schedule

Your recurring Monday–Sunday hours. This is what the booking system reads to decide whether you can take an appointment on a given day.

You can **see** your weekly schedule, but changing it needs the **Staff
Modify** permission. If your normal working week is wrong, ask a manager to
fix it on the Staff screen.

### Overrides

An override is a one-off change for a single date — a day off, a shift swap, holiday hours, a sick day.

**You can add, edit, and delete your own overrides** without any permission. That is the whole point of this screen: you shouldn't have to find a manager to mark yourself unavailable next Tuesday.

From **My Profile** → **Schedule**, scroll to the override section.

Tap the date you want to change, or use **Add** and pick a start date (and an end date to cover a range).

Either mark yourself **Unavailable** for the day, or enter different **Start** and **End** times.

The reason is optional but helps your manager read the calendar — "Sick", "Trade with Sam", "Half day". Tap **Save**.

An override always beats the weekly schedule for that exact date. Deleting the override puts the day back on your normal hours.

Marking yourself unavailable removes your slots from the booking picker for
that date. Existing bookings already on the calendar are **not** cancelled —
tell a manager if a booking needs to move.

## My bookings

**Bookings** lists the appointments and reservations assigned to you, grouped into upcoming and past. It is read-only: it tells you what your day looks like, it does not let you rebook.

This screen needs the **Events** feature on your store's plan. On the free Basic plan there are no bookings, so the action does not appear.

## My orders

Your profile shows a card of your **currently active orders** — the ones still open on the register with your name on them. That card is always available to you.

The full **order history** behind the Orders action is the store's order list filtered to you, so it follows the store's order permissions. If your role does not include **Order View**, the history will not load even though it is your own orders. Ask a manager to add the permission if you need it.

## Edit my details

**Edit** opens your own staff form — name, email, and contact details. It follows the same rules as the manager-side staff form:

- Changing your **email** re-sends a confirmation to the new address.
- You cannot change your own **role** or deactivate yourself. Those are manager actions, by design.

## My PIN

If your store uses the **Staff Operations** add-on, your profile also carries your PIN. You can set, change, or remove your own PIN from there without a manager — removing your own PIN does not ask for the old one, because you are already signed in.

Only a manager can reset **someone else's** PIN. See [Staff PINs](/docs/store/staff-operations/pin-credentials).
