# How to Update a Service

Keep your services up to date so your POS and booking menus always reflect your current offerings. You can change a service's name, price, duration, assigned staff, or any other detail at any time.

## Step-by-Step Guide

1. **Open the menu.** Click the sidebar hamburger menu to open navigation.
2. **Go to Services.** Select **Services** from the menu list.
3. **Choose a service.** Click the service you want to edit (for example, "Deep Tissue Massage").
4. **Edit details.** Update any fields as needed. See [Field Explanations](/docs/store/service/overview#field-explanations) for what each field means.
5. **Save.** Click **Save**. Your updates appear instantly in your POS and booking menus.

## Tips

- Changes show up right away after you save.
- Use clear names, images, and descriptions so staff and customers can find services easily.
- Adjust duration, price, or assigned staff as your business needs change.
- Leave optional fields blank if you are not sure what to enter.
- Make sure each service name is unique and descriptive.
- Use modifiers or add-ons to offer extra value, such as aromatherapy or extra time.
- Group similar services under the same category for easier booking.
