# How to Delete a Service

# How to Delete a Service

When you no longer offer a service, you can remove it from your POS system. There are two ways to delete a service.

## Option 1: Delete from the Service List

1. **Open the menu.** Click the sidebar hamburger menu to open navigation.
2. **Go to Services.** Select **Services** from the menu list.
3. **Find the service.** Locate the service you want to delete (for example, "Deep Tissue Massage").
4. **Delete.** Click the **Delete** button (trash bin icon) in the action column.
5. **Confirm.** A confirmation message appears. Click **Yes** or **Confirm** to finish.

## Option 2: Delete from the Service Details

1. **Open the menu.** Click the sidebar hamburger menu to open navigation.
2. **Go to Services.** Select **Services** from the menu list.
3. **Choose a service.** Click the service you want to delete.
4. **Delete.** Click the **Delete** button (trash bin icon) on the service details page.
5. **Confirm.** A confirmation message appears. Click **Yes** or **Confirm** to finish.

## What Happens When You Delete a Service

- The service is removed from your POS and booking menus immediately.
- Past sales and booking history remain in your records. The service is simply no longer available for new bookings.
- Services linked as add-ons or included in packages lose that association.
- You can always create a new service later if needed.

## Tips

- Double-check before deleting. A deleted service cannot be restored.
- If you just want to hide a service temporarily, consider disabling it instead of deleting it.
- Keep your service list organized by removing offerings you no longer provide.
- Review related packages or add-ons to make sure nothing is left broken.
