# How to Delete a Gift Card

When a gift card is no longer needed, you can remove it to keep your list clean.

1. Open the **sidebar menu**.
2. Select **Gift Cards** to see your current list.
3. Find the gift card you want to delete and click its **Delete** button.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

## What Happens When You Delete a Gift Card?

- The gift card disappears from your list and can no longer be used for new sales or redemptions.
- Its records are **preserved, not erased** — past sales, redemptions, and reports still show the gift card as it was at the time of use.
- You can create a new gift card later if your needs change.
