# How to Delete a Discount

When a discount is no longer needed, you can remove it to keep your list clean. There are two ways to do this.

## Step-by-Step Guide

### Option 1: Delete from the Discount List

1. Open the **sidebar menu**.
2. Select **Discounts** to see your current list of offers.
3. Click the **Delete** button next to the discount you want to remove.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

### Option 2: Delete from Within a Discount Record

1. Open the **sidebar menu**.
2. Select **Discounts** to see your current list of offers.
3. Click on the discount you want to remove.
4. Click the **Delete** button on the detail page.
5. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

## What Happens When You Delete a Discount?

- The discount is removed from your list and no longer applies to new sales.
- Past sales and reports still show the discount as it was at the time of sale.
- You can create a new discount later if your needs change.
