# How to Delete a Customer

Sometimes you need to remove a customer from your list -- maybe they are a duplicate, or you want to clean up your records. There are two ways to delete a customer.

## Option 1: Delete from the Customer List

1. Open the sidebar menu.
2. Select **Customers** from the menu.
3. Use the filter or scroll to find the customer you want to delete.
4. Click the **Delete** button in the action column.
5. Confirm the deletion by clicking **Yes** or **Confirm**. The customer is permanently removed.

## Option 2: Delete from the Customer Profile

1. Open the sidebar menu.
2. Select **Customers** from the menu.
3. Find the customer you want to delete.
4. Click **View Details** in the action column to open their profile.
5. Click the **Delete** button on the profile page.
6. Confirm the deletion by clicking **Yes** or **Confirm**. The customer is permanently removed.

## Tips

- Double-check before deleting -- a deleted customer cannot be restored.
- Only delete customers you no longer need (e.g., duplicates or test entries).
- If a customer asks to be removed, deleting their info respects their privacy.
- You can always add a customer again later if needed.

- Keep your customer list clean by removing old or unused entries.
- Respect privacy -- delete customer info when requested.
- If you are unsure, consider editing the customer instead of deleting.
