# How to Update an Area

# How to Update an Area

You can rename an area, change its description, or adjust details anytime your store layout changes.

## Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open the **sidebar menu** by clicking the hamburger icon.
2. Select **Store** from the menu.
3. Click **Areas** to view your current list of areas.
4. Find the area you want to update using the search bar or by scrolling.
5. Click the **Edit** button next to the area's name.
6. Update the details:
   - **Name** -- Change the area name (e.g., "Al Fresco," "VIP Area," or "Washing Area").
   - **Description** -- Optionally update the description.
7. Click **Save**. Your changes take effect right away.

## Tips

- Use clear, simple names so staff can recognize areas quickly.
- Update area names or details whenever your business layout changes.
- Remove areas you no longer use to keep the list organized.
