# How to Set a Default Payment Method

Your default payment method is charged automatically for subscription renewals. Set it to the card or account you prefer.

## Steps

1. Open the **sidebar menu** from the top of the screen.
2. Select **Account** from the menu.
3. Select **Subscription** from the list.
4. Under **Payment Methods**, select the payment method you want to make the default.
5. Tap **Set as Default**.
6. Future payments will now use this method automatically.

## Tips

- Change your default payment method at any time.
- If your default card expires, update it right away to avoid missed payments.
- You can always add a new card and set it as the default in one visit.
