# Organization Wallet & SMS

When you group several stores under an **organization**, they can share a single **pooled Wallet**. The organization (your head office) tops it up once, and every store under it sends text messages from that shared balance. No need to top up each branch separately.

## Why pool the Wallet

- **One place to fund everything.** Top up the organization Wallet and all branches can send texts.
- **Simpler accounting.** One balance, one set of receipts, one activity log.
- **Fair tracking.** Even though the pool is shared, each text is still tagged to the store that sent it, so you can see which branch is using the most.

## Where to find it

From the sidebar, go to **Account → Organizations → [your organization] → SMS**. The hub mirrors the store version, with the Wallet, activity, receipts, and per-store usage all at the organization level.

## Topping up the pool

Go to **Account → Organizations → [your organization] → SMS**.

Choose an amount, review the points it adds, and confirm.

Pay on the secure checkout page. Points land in the pool once payment clears, and every member store can spend them.

When your stores are pooled, individual store Wallet screens point you back to the organization to top up. That's expected — the pool is funded centrally, not per store.

## Allocating credit to a store

Sometimes you want to give a specific branch a fixed amount of credit rather than letting it draw freely from the pool. The **Allocate to store** action moves a chosen number of points from the organization pool to one store's own Wallet.

Go to **Account → Organizations → [your organization] → SMS**.

Choose the destination store, enter the number of points to move (up to the current pool balance), and add an optional note.

The points move from the pool to that store. The action is recorded in the activity log on both sides.

Allocating to a store is one-directional credit movement, recorded for audit. When a store **leaves** a pooled organization, its new standalone Wallet starts at zero — the pool was jointly funded, so no automatic refund is split out. Allocate a starting balance to it before or after it leaves if you want it to have credit.

## Who can do what

- **Organization owner / admin** can top up the pool and allocate credit to stores.
- **Billing** members can view and top up.
- Funding is controlled at the organization; sending is controlled per store with the SMS add-on.
