# How to Link or Unlink Social Accounts

Connecting a social account lets you sign in with Google or Facebook instead of typing your email and password each time.

## To Link a Social Account

1. Open the **sidebar menu** from the top of the screen.
2. Select **Account** from the menu.
3. Select **Account Details** from the list.
4. Under the **Social** section, tap **Link** next to the account you want to add.
5. Follow the prompts to sign in and authorize the connection.
6. Your social account is now linked. You can use it to sign in next time.

## To Unlink a Social Account

1. Open the **sidebar menu** from the top of the screen.
2. Select **Account** from the menu.
3. Select **Account Details** from the list.
4. Under the **Social** section, tap **Unlink** next to the account you want to remove.
5. Confirm that you want to unlink it. You can still sign in with your email and password.

## Tips

- If you sign in with Google or Facebook using the **same email address** as an existing account (only capitalization may differ), the second provider is **linked automatically**—you stay on one account.
- You can link more than one social account for convenience.
- If you unlink all social accounts, make sure you remember your email and password.
- Only link accounts you trust and use regularly.
